On July 15, 2017, at approximately 8:07 p.m., officers of the Fitchburg Police Department were dispatched to the 5500 of Longford Terrace for a report of an armed robbery. Officers discovered a landscape worker had been approached by the suspect in the driveway of residence. The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money. The victim was then forced to the backyard of the home and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as a black male, 17-18 years of age, approximately 5’6”-5’8” wearing all black and a black scarf across his face.
A K-9 track was conducted, however did not locate any suspect or evidence.
