On April 22, 2016 at 7:17 a.m., a 5 year old child was walking to a school bus pick up point in the area of Penwall Street and Targhee Street. A 35 to 45 year old white male, driving a black Mercedes stopped and asked the child, "Is this your bus or is that your bus?"
The male drove away rapidly when he observed an adult in the area. The suspect made no attempt to get the child into the car. If anyone has information pertaining to this case please contact, the Fitchburg Police Department. 608-270-4300
