The Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board will join the Fitchburg Fire Department on March 25 to recognize the donation of soy-based firefighting foam developed by Cross Plains Solutions.
This innovative product, known as SoyFoam, is made from Wisconsin-grown soybeans and provides a renewable, PFAS-free alternative to traditional petroleum-based firefighting foams. The donation highlights how agricultural products are being used to support safer, more environmentally responsible emergency response tools.
The event will take place at Fitchburg Fire Department Station 1 at 11:00 a.m. and will include representatives from Wisconsin’s soybean industry along with Fitchburg Fire Chief Scott Sarver.
