Details:
On Oct. 25th, 2024, at approximately 2:30 am, a Fitchburg officer conducted a traffic stop on a car in the area of Bryant Road and Greenway Cross. During the traffic stop the Officer conducted an OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) investigation and subsequently arrested the driver. A review of the operator’s driving & criminal record showed that he had seven previous OWI convictions with an additional pending felony OWI arrest.
The driver was identified as Mark A. Ubersox, 42, who was booked into the Dane County Jail on felony charges of Operating While Intoxicated 8th offense, Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, and Felony Bail Jumping.
