The City of Fitchburg has been a careful steward of our budget, making the most out of tax dollars. At this point, the needs of our community – and the costs associated with addressing those needs – have outpaced Fitchburg’s current funding capacity and additional dollars are needed to hire public safety and administrative personnel, address growing operating costs and invest in transit.
