The City of Fitchburg Fall Recycling Day event is scheduled for Saturday, September 14 from 8:00AM-11:00AM, at the Civic Campus, 5520 Lacy Road. This event will include free shredding of confidential papers and electronic recycling. Please note that while many electronics are free to recycle, there are some items that require a fee:
- CRT/Flat Screen Monitors and TVs 29” and Under: $20 each
- CRT/Flat Screen TVs 30” to 49”: $40 each
- CRT/Flat Screen TVs over 50”/Console/Projection: $60 each
- Microwave/Large Copier: $15 each
- Small freon items (dehumidifiers, window AC units, mini fridges, etc.): $20 each
- Large Refrigerators/Freezers: $35 each
