Payne and Dolan will begin work on the 2024 Street Resurfacing Project on Monday, May 6, 2024. There are 19 roads to complete, and most roads will be completed in about a month from start to finish. Homeowners affected by the work have been sent a letter.
Roads included in this year's project include Cheryl Drive, McGaw Road, Rosellen Avenue, Vintage Drive, Grandview Drive, Windsona Circle, Sentinel Pass, Commerce Park Drive, Dommers Drive, Seminole Highway, Vineyard Road, Vroman Road, Osmundsen Road, Crescent Road, Richardson Street, Verde View Road, Niagara Court, Whalen Road, and the West Beltline Frontage Road. The current schedule is to complete the rural roads prior to Memorial Day.
Roads will always remain open to local traffic, except for approximately two hours after the final surface layer of asphalt. Resurfacing projects are weather dependent. The city will send another update letter to homeowners by June 1, 2024, with updates on the project and schedule.
