Fitchburg Utilities spring hydrant flushing will start on Monday, March 18, 2024, and will finish Monday, April 15, 2024. Flushing will occur Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Due to the flushing, the water may be temporarily discolored. Discoloration can be cleared by opening the cold water tap to full flow for a few minutes. Please do laundry in the evening when water is clear to avoid damage to clothes.
