Fitchburg Responds to House Fire
At approximately 12:59pm Friday, March 1, 2024, Dane County Public Safety Communications (911) notified the Fitchburg Fire Department of a structure fire at 1928 Wendt Road in the City of Fitchburg.
The first arriving fire personnel confirmed visible smoke on the back side of the home.
Fire was extinguished quickly by first arriving companies. The home sustained minor fire damages. No injuries were reported.
Assistance was received from Fitchburg Police Department, FitchRona EMS, Verona Fire Department, Oregon Fire Department and Brooklyn Fire Department.
The origin and cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Fitchburg Fire Investigators.
