Details:
Around 1:15 a.m., Officers from the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the 3000 block of S Seminole Highway for a crash. Officers discovered a semi truck slid off the roadway and struck a power line. No injuries were reported from the crash.
The downed power line caused power outages in the Seminole Highway and McKee Road corridor. Seminole Highway is expected to remain closed for several hours, as MG&E crews are on scene and continue to work to restore power to the area.
