On December 1st, 2023 at approximately 9:13 a.m. officers with the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the area of CTH M and CTH D for a report of a one vehicle crash involving a cement truck. The investigation revealed that the cement truck was traveling westbound on CTH M approaching CTH D. The driver of the truck did not maintain their lane of travel and the vehicle went off the roadway and tipped onto its side.
The 61 year old driver of the cement truck was transported to a local hospital for non-life threating injuries.
There were no other vehicle or injuries involved in this crash.
