The City of Fitchburg is partnering with Wachtel Tree Science to update our inventory of public trees. A crew of 3 or 4 arborists will be walking the streets and rights – of – way in the City wearing high visibility vests and using handheld GIS equipment. We anticipate this work will start in early December and will take 4-6 weeks to complete. The resulting information will be used to plan the management of the City of Fitchburg’s urban forest.
