On Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at approximately 6:26 p.m., Fitchburg Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Post Rd for a report of shots fired.
Based on witness statements and evidence collected from the scene, officers learned the incident started near the sidewalk on the 2400 block of Post Rd and there were multiple shots fired. There were no immediate reports of injuries and there are no suspects currently in custody. This investigation is active and there is no further information available for release at this time.
