On Tuesday, April 27th, 2021, at 8:24 p.m., officers from the Fitchburg Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Fish Hatchery Rd and Post Rd for a report of a car vs pedestrian accident. Upon arriving on scene officers located an injured adult male who was being tended to by EMS and learned he had been struck while crossing Fish Hatchery Rd just north of Post Rd. The injured male was transported to the hospital by Fitchrona EMS with serious injuries. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
