Construction is anticipated to begin this week for the Verona Road Project. Mobilization of crews and equipment is ongoing with minimal traffic impacts.
On Thursday night, (March 21), northbound Verona Road traffic between Williamsburg Way and Raymond Road will shift back to the new concrete pavement on the west side of the highway. Southbound Verona Road traffic was shifted last fall onto this new pavement. Nightly lane closures will occur on northbound and southbound Verona Road between 8 pm and 5 am. Delays may occur during the overnight period as crews complete the traffic shift. Work operations and the traffic shift are weather dependent.
