On November 16, 2018, at approximately 3:21 a.m., Fitchburg Police responded to the Capitol Petro gas station located at 2770 S. Syene Rd. for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival it was discovered forced entry was made to the business and the suspects had left. An undisclosed amount of cigarettes and cash were stolen. There were two suspects who committed the burglary.
Suspect #1: A heavy set black male wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
Suspect #2: A medium built black male also wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
The Fitchburg Police Department was assisted by the Town of Madison Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
