On March 15, 2018 at 6:26 am, Fitchburg Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had occurred at the KwikTrip gas station at 5280 Williamsburg Way.
The suspect entered the store and pointed a handgun at the two cashiers and demanded the money from their registers. The suspect then ran south towards Williamsburg Way. A police K9 track was attempted but the suspect was not located. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 20 years of age, about 5’11” tall with a medium build, was wearing a gold or tan jacket, black sweatpants, and a mask around his face. The investigation is on-going.
