On September 30, 2017 at approximately 7:50 pm officers from the Fitchburg Police Department were in the area of the 2800 block of Coho St. when they heard multiple gunshots. Two vehicles were struck by fired rounds. No injuries have been reported.
Based upon the investigation, there appeared to be multiple shooters as there were several shell casings located in different areas of the scene. The Verona Police Department K9 Unit, officers from the Verona Police Department and officers Town of Madison Police Department assisted in the investigation.
There is no suspect information at this time. The Fitchburg Police Department is continuing to work with the community to identify any individuals involved in the incident.
