The investigation of circumstances resulting a shooting victim being located in the 2300 Block of Post Road in the City of Fitchburg on Friday, August 19th 2016 has determined the shooting occurred in the City of Madison. City of Fitchburg Police and City of Madison Police are working together to complete the investigation.

On Friday, August 19th, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers from the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Post Road for a teenage male who had been shot in the back. The male was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
