The Fitchburg Stormwater Utility is completing maintenance of the Quarry Hill Pond this winter. Work will involve dredging and removal of accumulated sediment and installation of a clay liner. Work is anticipated to begin this week, with project completion in January. Cold weather may effect the exact days in which work can be performed. Those that live near the project area will notice a high volume of trucks entering and leaving the site while work is being performed.
