2025 Mission, Vision, and Values Employee Recognition Awards
The City of Fitchburg is excited to announce the recognition of four employees at the inaugural Employee Recognition Ceremony. These individuals were honored for their exceptional contributions to one of the City's core values: Service, Teamwork, Accountability, and Innovation.
The recipients were selected based on nominations that highlighted their outstanding work and dedication to these values. The following employees were celebrated at a ceremony held on January 29, 2025, at City Hall:
- Amy Jordan – Case Worker, Senior Center
Service Award: For providing accurate, reliable, and timely support to the community. - Scott Yarbrough – Assistant Manager, Community Media Services, FACTv
Innovation Award: For creatively and efficiently using resources to drive forward-thinking solutions. - Joyce Frey – Economic Development Specialist, Economic Development
Teamwork Award: For working collaboratively to solve problems and provide efficient service. - Misty Dodge – Finance Director, Finance
Accountability Award: For demonstrating responsibility through transparent, ethical, and responsive actions.
The Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV) Employee Group reviewed all nominations and applied benchmarks aligned with the City's Mission, Vision, and Values.
