A Spring Election will be held in the City of Fitchburg on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The following alderperson positions are up for election to a two-year term starting April 15, 2025:
- District #1, Seat #1: Dave Herbst
- District #2, Seat #3: Bill Jetzer
- District #3, Seat #5: Jay Allen
- District #4, Seat #7: Jim Wheeler
Candidate packets and district boundaries are available on the City’s website or by contacting the City Clerk's office at 5520 Lacy Road, (608) 270-4200.
Key Dates:
- First day to circulate nomination papers: December 1, 2024
Last day to file nomination papers: 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025
If a primary is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Voter ID Reminder: A photo ID will be required to vote. If you do not have one, you may obtain a free voting ID from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
