Fitchburg Utilities Fall Hydrant Flushing begins today (west of Fish Hatchery Road) and concludes on October 31, 2024. Flushing will occur Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to the flushing, the water may be temporarily discolored. Discoloration can be cleared by opening the cold water tap to full flow for a few minutes. Please do laundry in the evening when water is clear to avoid damage to clothes.
