Fitchburg Responds to Vehicle Fire
At approximately 3:40pm Friday, August 23, 2024, Dane County Public Safety Communications (911) notified the Fitchburg Fire Department of a vehicle fire at 1370 Highway 14 in the City of Fitchburg.
Fitchburg Truck 3 responded from an EMS assist directly to the scene. Once on scene, they confirmed a single vehicle fully engulfed on arrival.
The fire was extinguished quickly. No injuries were reported.
Assistance was received from Fitchburg Police Department and Oregon Fire Department.
The origin and cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Fitchburg Fire Investigators.
