Fitchburg Responds to Commercial Fire
At approximately 1:42pm Thursday, February 22, 2024, Dane County Public Safety Communications (911) notified the Fitchburg Fire Department of a structure fire at 4775 County Highway B in the City of Fitchburg.
The first arriving fire personnel reported alarms sounding and confirmed visible smoke in the building.
Fire was extinguished quickly by first arriving companies. The building sustained minor fire damages. No injuries were reported.
Assistance was received from Fitchburg Police Department, FitchRona EMS, Madison Fire Department, Verona Fire Department, Oregon Fire Department and Brooklyn Fire Department.
The origin and cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Fitchburg Fire Investigators and MAFIT.
