On February 22, 2024, around 9:30am, officers and detectives with the Fitchburg Police Department located the suspect vehicle involved in the bank robbery at the Associated Bank, at 3002 Fish Hatchery Rd., that occurred on February 21, 2024. After an attempt to contact the suspect in the vehicle, the suspect vehicle fled from officers. After a pursuit, during which tire deflation devices were used, the suspect vehicle was stopped and the suspect was taken into custody. Two squad cars from the Dane County Sherriff’s Office were damaged during the pursuit and apprehension of the suspect.
The suspect is identified as LISA M HARDING, F/W, DOB 9-8-1985.
The suspect is currently on supervision for previous convictions of bank robbery. She is also the suspect in a bank robbery attempt that occurred at the Old National Bank, at 5750 Raymond Rd., in the City of Madison on February 21, 2024, which occurred just prior to the robbery at Associated Bank.
Charges of Robbery of a Financial Institution, Eluding and Recklessly Endangering Safety will be forthcoming. The investigation is still active and more details may be released as they develop.
Deputies from the Dane County Sherriff’s Office, officers from the Monona Police Department and officers from the Madison Police Department assisted in the apprehension of the suspect.
