Details:
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at around 3:26 p.m., officers with the Fitchburg Police Department were dispatched to the 2700 block of Pheasant Ridge Trail for a report of a suspicious vehicle. An officer located the suspicious vehicle and stopped it in a parking lot. The passenger exited the vehicle and started running from the officer. The officer pursued the passenger on foot and he was eventually caught and arrested by another responding officer. While the passenger was running he attempted to discard drugs.
The suspect was identified as Daiquon R. Tanner, 24, from Sun Prairie. Daiquon will be booked into the Dane County Jail on several felony warrants and new charges from this incident will be requested of possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, felony bail jumping and resisting an officer. Officers from the Monona Police Department and Madison Police Department responded to assist with this investigation.
