Fitchburg Utilities (Delayed) spring hydrant flushing will start on Thursday, June 15 and will finish on Thursday, July 6. Flushing will occur Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Due to the flushing, the water may be temporarily discolored. Discoloration can be cleared by opening the cold water tap to full flow for a few minutes. Please do laundry in the evening when water is clear to avoid damage to clothes.
