On October 20, 2021, at approximately 12:33 a.m., a Fitchburg police officer heard several gun shots coming from the 2900 block of Fish Hatchery Rd. Several citizens called to report hearing the shots as well. Officers began searching the area and located several shell casings. The initial investigation revealed a silver sedan left the area immediately after the shots were fired. There were no reports of injuries or damaged property. The investigation is ongoing.
