On Monday, September 27, 2021 at around 9:00PM, Fitchburg Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Sentinel Pass for multiple reports of shots fired.
According to witness statements and evidence collected from the scene, dozens of shots were fired within the 4400 and 4500 blocks of Sentinel Pass. The shooting occurred between two vehicles as they drove through the neighborhood.
The Madison Police Department assisted with containing the initial scene. There were no immediate reports of injuries and there are no suspects currently in custody. This investigation is still active and there is no further information available for release at this time.
