On November 11, 2020, at approximately 1:31 a.m., Fitchburg police officers responded to the Capitol Petro gas station located at 2770 S. Syene Rd. for an intrusion alarm. Officers arrived on scene to find the gas station had been burglarized. Officers learned that two suspects entered the gas station and stole cigarettes and cash. The suspects have not yet been identified, however, the investigation is ongoing. Fitchburg Police was assisted by the Town of Madison Police and the Madison Police Department.
Suspect #1 Description: A male wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
Suspect #2 Description: A male wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
