Details:
On April 15, 2020, at approximately 10:37 a.m., officers with the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the Dollar Tree, 3038 Fish Hatchery Road, for a reported armed robbery. The investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the store, approached the cashier and demanded money from the cash register. During the robbery the suspect was armed with a small pry bar and threatened the employee with it.
The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no injuries during this incident and no arrests have been made at this time.
Suspect Description:
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, approximately 6’ to 6’2”, with a thin build. He was wearing a blue ribbed jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath. He had on gray pants, brown work boots, and a black mask.
