Homicide Investigation Update

The Fitchburg Police Department, with the assistance of the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, the Middleton Police Department, the Madison Police Department, and the Verona Police Department, continue to investigate the homicide that occurred on August 20, 2019, on Lyman Lane.
Investigators are actively pursuing information related to the case and following-up on tips provided by the community. No arrests have been made in the case and there is no additional information available for release at this time.
If a need arises to share information or provide an update on the status of the case with the community, a release will be shared through our traditional press release channels as well as social media.
